Analysis: The right-hander is 0-5 with a gaudy 11.10 ERA in his last five starts with the Diamondbacks since beating the Dodgers 3-2 on June 1 at Los Angeles with six scoreless innings of four-hit ball.
Jun. 28 1:04 PM PT2:04 PM MT3:04 PM CT4:04 PM ET9:04 PM GMT5:04 AM 北京时间-The Diamondbacks optioned Buckner to Triple-A Reno on Saturday.

Jun. 15 3:02 PM PT4:02 PM MT5:02 PM CT6:02 PM ET11:02 PM GMT7:02 AM 北京时间-Buckner allowed six runs and five hits, including two homers, with five strikeouts and three walks in an 8-3 loss to Houston on Sunday.
Analysis: Buckner hasn't pitched well in losing his last two outings, allowing 14 runs and 18 hits -- four homers -- in 10 2-3 innings. That's a far cry from his last victory on June 1, when he yielded four hits in six scoreless innings of a 3-2 win at Los Angeles. He's struggling to find consistency.
Jun. 10 1:23 PM PT2:23 PM MT3:23 PM CT4:23 PM ET9:23 PM GMT5:23 AM 北京时间-Buckner gave up a career-high eight runs and 13 hits in Tuesday night's 9-4 loss to visiting San Francisco.
Analysis: Buckner (2-2, 6.75 ERA), who has alternated wins and losses in his last four starts, is scheduled to make his first start against Houston on Sunday at home.
Jun. 2 12:49 PM PT1:49 PM MT2:49 PM CT3:49 PM ET8:49 PM GMT4:49 AM 北京时间-Buckner allowed four hits in six scoreless innings Monday to beat the Dodgers 3-2.
Analysis: The right-hander, who began the season in the Diamondbacks' bullpen, has allowed six earned runs over 18 1-3 innings in three starts since being recalled May 22 from Triple-A Reno. "I think with every start and every outing, you can gain a little more experience, get a little more confident and maybe settle in a little more," Buckner said. "So we're taking it one game at a time."
May 28 10:01 AM PT11:01 AM MT12:01 PM CT1:01 PM ET6:01 PM GMT2:01 AM 北京时间-Buckner allowed five runs over five-plus innings to lose 8-5 to the Padres on Wednesday.
Analysis: Buckner suffered his first loss in his second start of the year.
May 23 1:46 PM PT2:46 PM MT3:46 PM CT4:46 PM ET9:46 PM GMT5:46 AM 北京时间-Buckner pitched 7 1-3 strong innings and the Diamondbacks held on to beat the Oakland Athletics 2-1 on Friday night.
Analysis: Buckner, recalled from Triple-A Reno before the game, allowed only Matt Holliday's solo homer in the second while giving the Diamondbacks' weary bullpen a much-needed break. He gave up five hits, walked two and struck out three while winning in his first start since Sept. 27, 2007 when he was with Kansas City. The outing was surprising after Buckner had pitched strictly in relief for Arizona since being acquired from the Royals in 2007.
