Analysis: A team spokesman says he will be evaluated again at the Metrodome on Wednesday. Colon is 3-6 with a 4.19 ERA in 12 starts for the White Sox this season. He spent nearly eight weeks on the disabled list with inflammation in his left knee. But he returned on Friday to pitch seven strong innings in a loss to Detroit. |

Analysis: White Sox general manager Ken Williams said Tuesday the team wasn't sure where Colon was. He was put on the disabled list June 9 and had been in Arizona rehabbing a sore knee and working on his pitching before making a rehab start. Colon is 3-6 with a 4.23 ERA in 11 starts this season and has given up 12 homers. If Colon does well in a couple of rehab starts, he could rejoin the White Sox and perhaps pitch in one game of a doubleheader July 24 against the Tigers. |
