Mets' d'Arnaud out 3 weeks, Blevins 6

NEW YORK (AP) Mets catcher Travis d'Arnaud will be out more than three weeks and left-handed reliever Jerry Blevins will miss more than six weeks after both were injured in the seventh inning of a 7-6 win over Miami.

The team said Monday that d'Arnaud will be in a splint for three weeks after his right hand was broken when he was hit by a pitch a day earlier. Blevins will be in a splint for six weeks after a line drive fractured his throwing arm.

Both were placed on the 15-day disabled list. The Mets said they will select the contract of prized catching prospect Kevin Plawecki from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday and will recall right-hander pitcher Hansel Robles.
